Simple Wishes was born from one quiet act of kindness.
It started with a coworker who came to work in tears. Her blender had broken that morning, and she couldn’t afford a new one. That blender meant more than just smoothies — it meant starting the day right for her children. Seeing her pain, I bought her a new one. She cried, overwhelmed by the gesture. And in that moment, I realized how life-changing even the smallest gift can be.
Simple Wishes was created to meet those simple, urgent needs that often go unmet — a child’s bed, a working appliance, help with a medical co-pay. Not huge things, but essential ones.
Through community giving, we provide meaningful help with dignity, love, and no red tape. It’s our way of saying: you are not alone, and you matter.
